QS World Ranking, one of the top three most prominent ranking systems in the world, has recently released statistics regarding the performance of more than 1400 educational institutions in the world.
Sharif University of Technology (SUT) was ranked 380th, with a one-step progression compared to 2022, and also earned the first position amongst Iranian universities. Notably, only six Iranian universities were qualified to be included on the QS World Ranking list. SUT has been participating in QS Ranking since 2012 and its uptrend flow, brought about 381st place in 2022 and 380th in 2023, which makes SUT the record holder of the best-ranked university ever in Iran. This achievement is particularly significant since Sharif University of Technology is a technical university, not a comprehensive one.
