At the invitation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science & Innovation of Uzbekistan, Dr. Mousavi, President of Sharif University of Technology, embarked on a three-day delegation visit to Uzbek universities, fostering scientific and educational collaborations.
At the International Education Summit and World Youth Festival in Samarkand, Dr. Mousavi showcased Sharif University of Technology's third-generation advancements to a global audience of dignitaries, academics, and youth from over 150 nations, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
During a visit to Samarkand State University, Dr. Mousavi met with the President and a member of the Uzbek Senate. They emphasized enhancing scientific cooperation between the two institutions through signing a memorandum of understanding.
Additional highlights included a visit to Tashkent State Technical University and a meeting with Dr. Sharipov, Uzbekistan's Minister of Higher Education, Science & Innovation. Discussions focused on expanding joint research collaborations between Sharif University of Technology and Uzbek universities.
