Sharif University of Technology in the Latest QS Subject Ranking

In the 2024 report of QS subject ranking system, only University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology managed to get a ranking in the field of engineering and technology. Sharif University of Technology, which was ranked 244th in engineering and technology in 2023 and 451-500 in natural sciences, was ranked 450-401 in engineering and technology and 550-501 in natural sciences in the subject ranking of 2024.

The fields of chemical engineering, computer science and information systems, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, aviation and construction, and petroleum engineering in the engineering sub-group, and the fields of chemistry, material science, mathematics, and physics and astronomy in the Natural sciences sub-group are 9 disciplines in which Sharif University of Technology is ranked. Subject ranking evaluation indexes include academic reputation, employer reputation, citations, H-index, and international research network, which are weighted with different percentages in each field.
