According to the agreement signed between Sharif University of Technology (SUT) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the 11th joint doctoral program will be held once more.
As per the agreement, the student finishes the first two years of his doctoral course at SUT and defends his thesis at HKUST. The HKUST pays an amount of approximately 1850 US dollars during this period after deducting the monthly tuition fee, and the student receives both a doctorate from the HKUST and one from SUT at the end of the program.
Applicants to participate in this course must have passed their comprehensive examination successfully, but have not yet defended their research proposal.
