We are happy to announce that the 5th Sharif Winter School in Theoretical and Computaional Chemistry (TCCW 2025) will be held in the faculty of Chemistry, Sharif University of Technology, 15-19 February (27 Bahman-1 Esfand). This school offers a great opportunity to learn the basics of computational quantum chemistry, as well as getting to know and work with one of the most well-known and cited quantum chemistry software packages, Orca 5 and its GUI, the Avogadro software. This year's program will mainly focus on deep learning the foundations of computational chemistry , which can be very helpful for both students new to the field and experienced researchers as long as they have a basic knowledge of quantum chemistry.
TCCW 20205 will be held under the supervision of Professor Zahra Jamshidi, hosting two highly esteemed guest lecturers and expert executive committee members navigating through theoretical and computational lab sessions.
